An organization's culture & it's affect on growth

If you work for a company that has an open culture, you’ll know what I mean by “open”–it’s about communication. In an open culture, employees are encouraged to ask questions and share their opinions with their co-workers. When there is no clear chain of command at the company, employees can feel more comfortable sharing ideas with each other because they know that they will be heard and considered by everyone else in the room. This creates a positive environment where ideas are shared freely without fear of retaliation or retribution from management because they aren’t afraid of being punished themselves if they speak out against something wrong within the organization’s operations (i.e., “don’t talk back”).
